Volunteering with WOU Alumni
Do you want to be involved with WOU and alumni events but don’t want the commitment of being part of the board? Do you enjoy volunteering your time and attending great events and activities? Consider joining our volunteer network! We frequently need volunteers to help us be successful and there are many ways to get involved. Volunteering opportunities include, but are not limited to:
- Mentoring/meeting with students/recent graduates
- Attending events to help with registration, setup, cleanup, outreach, etc.
- Meeting with alumni in your region and helping run events/activities
- Helping with mailings/invitations
- Much more!

Alumni Regional Volunteer Networks
We love our alumni and want to host events in regions where our alumni populations are large. To do this, we need dedicated volunteers in those regions to help us put on great alumni events. Our regional volunteers would help us by being onsite during alumni events in their area, recruiting alumni in their area to join their networks, be points of contact for the alumni office and more. Areas we are looking for volunteers include:
- Eugene, OR
- Seattle, WA
- Portland, OR
- Central Oregon
- Bay area California
- Southern California
- Hawaiian islands
