Isolation and Quarantine Protocol

Western Oregon University will use the key public health tools known as isolation and quarantine to prevent the spread of COVID-19 among the campus community. In preparation for the fall 2020 quarter, this protocol is a detailed outline of how we will care for students who are presumed to have COVID-19 or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 based on a positive test result and require isolation as well as for students who have been exposed to COVID-19 and require quarantine.

Fall Term 2021

As of August 2, 2021 University Housing is tentatively planning the following for Fall Term Check In.
NOTE:  Students must be in compliance with COVID Vaccine Protocol to be eligible to move in and live on campus Fall 2021. 

FALL 2021 MOVE-IN for ELIGIBLE STUDENTS (See COVID Vaccine Protocol above for link ) will take place:

Sunday, September 19 and  Monday, September 20 during the following time blocks:

  • 9:00 am to Noon
  • Noon to 2:00 pm
  • 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Students will be directed later in the summer to select the timeblock that best suits their schedules via their Housing Overview pages. 

 

 FALL 2021 MOVE-IN DETAILS

  • Remember – wear your mask and maintain a minimum of 6 feet of physical distance between yourself and others.
  • All eligible students should  proceed to the hall that they will be living in for Fall Term to pick up your keys and get settled in your room.
