Volunteer to Help If you want to gain valuable professional experience but don’t wish to present, consider volunteering at AES. Volunteers are essential in making AES successful! Contact us at pure@wou.edu with “Volunteer” in the subject line if you are interested! We will also be tabling in the WUC in April and May; come talk to us! Check out our schedule of upcoming events to see when we’re tabling. We have a limited number of spots, and we hope to have them filled by the start of May!

Option 1: Session Aids

Session aids help the session chairs keep things running smoothly and on time. Session aids may: welcome attendees, pass out attendance tickets to attendees, time presentations or pass out handouts during a presentation. Session aids are essential to creating a professional experience for presenters, attendees and chairs.

Session aids who volunteer for at least one full shift of three hours receive a certificate of thanks. Aids who volunteer for more than two shifts (six hours) receive signed, personalized letters from the PURE director. All aids who work three sessions will receive some surprise swag on AES day!

Option 2: Conference Aids

Conferences require effort, passion and care to run smoothly. Our work happens before, during and after AES. Conference aids may: work at the information desk, hand out conference materials, adjust and move furniture, change event signage and many other essential tasks. Conference aids who volunteer for at least one full shift (three hours) receive a certificate of thanks. Aids who volunteer for more than two shifts (six hours) receive signed, personalized letters from the PURE Director. All aids who work three sessions (nine hours) will receive surprise swag on AES day!

Fill in this form to volunteer!
