Hey friends! I’m Jacy, I use she/her pronouns and I am this academic year’s Vice President for RHA! I am a senior in the Environmental Sustainability major and my passions are vegetable farming, dancing in the rain, and vegetarian burritos. I am stoked to be a part of RHA so I can intentionally connect with other students to advocate for all our needs and to help make college as fun and welcoming as possible for every person.

Duties

Attend ASWOU Cabinet meetings or meet with the ASWOU President or Vice President if unable to attend a meeting weekly
Act as Director of Elections for RHA and assist Hall Government Advisors with Hall Government Elections
Meet at least once a term with Hall Government Vice Presidents
Assume the responsibilities of the President in their absence
Serve as a liaison between all on-campus organizations
Inform residents through RHA General Assembly as needed about issues pertinent to WOU

Western Oregon University in Monmouth, OR is located within the traditional homelands of the Luckiamute Band of Kalapuya. Following the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 (Kalapuya etc. Treaty), Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to reservations in Western Oregon. Today, living descendants of these people are a part of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Community of Oregon and the Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Indians.
