What‘s up Wolves! My names Santi Groat and I‘m the RHA Vice President. I use they/them/any Pronouns and am a 4th year or senior here at WOU. I am a biology Major with a concentration in Zoology towards research. You might know me from my previous Resident Assistant positions in both Ackerman (two years ago) and Heritage (last year), so I‘ve been in housing for a while. I am excited to work with the entirety of campus this year and to throw lots of fun programs with the rest of the RHA staff and other members of campus. A little fun fact about me is that I do turtle research for the university and am also and out of state student from Southern Arizona.

Duties

Attend ASWOU Cabinet meetings or meet with the ASWOU President or Vice President if unable to attend a meeting weekly
Act as Director of Elections for RHA and assist Hall Government Advisors with Hall Government Elections
Meet at least once a term with Hall Government Vice Presidents
Assume the responsibilities of the President in their absence
Serve as a liaison between all on-campus organizations
Inform residents through RHA General Assembly as needed about issues pertinent to WOU

Western Oregon University in Monmouth, OR is located within the traditional homelands of the Luckiamute Band of Kalapuya. Following the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 (Kalapuya etc. Treaty), Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to reservations in Western Oregon.
