Associated Students of Western Oregon University |

Associated Students of Western Oregon University (ASWOU) is Western Oregon University’s student government. They work on a variety of campus and governmental issues, advocating for WOU students’ rights, and chartering clubs. With over 65 student organizations on campus, you’ll surely find something you can connect with! | |
Incidental Fee Committee |
|
The Incidental Fee Committee is comprised of nine students who are tasked with the responsibility of allocating student fees to thirteen different departments that sponsor student activities. | |
Multicultural Student Services and Programs |
|
The MCRs (Multicultural Representatives) provide support and mentorship for new students from first generation, low-income, and underrepresented backgrounds. Applications are usually available early in the Spring term. For more information, contact MCR’s 503-838-8737 or mssp@wou.edu. | |
Peer Mentors |

PLUS Team |

PLUS (Peer Leaders Understanding Students) Team is WOU’s orientation group that works with new students during SOAR and is responsible for planning for Fall Orientation. Applications are available the first week of winter term at the Werner University Center Information Desk. Residence Hall Association |

The Residence Hall Association provides programming, activities, leadership, and advocacy for over 1,400 students living in the WOU residence halls. A variety of leadership positions are available for those who live in the residence halls. Visit their office in the South Sister Annex near Valsetz or call them at (503)-838-8363. | |
Service Learning and Career Development |

Service Learning and Career Development (SLCD) helps students become career ready by assisting students with finding jobs while attending Western, overviews resumes, provides mock interviews, as well as helps students find the careers that are the best fit for them. SLCD also provides students with opportunities to go on service trips, which advances student development and benefits society. | |
Student Activities Board |

Student Activities Board is part of Student Leadership & Activities and is responsible for campus-wide programming and activities. Dances, comedians, and more are presented on a regular basis. Student Enrichment Program |

The Student Enrichment Program provides services and a supportive environment to equip first generation, low income and students with disabilities with skills to be successful in college. The purpose of this federally funded TRIO Student Support Service is to increase the retention and graduation rates of this student population. | |
Student Engagement Internships |

Student Media |
