Sexual Misconduct Resources
Confidential Support Options
Most Western Oregon University Employees are Responsible Employees, which means they must report any incident of sexual misconduct and sexual harassment to the office of Diversity, Equity, and Inculsion, which includes WOU’s Title IX Coordinator. However, the professional staff in two offices are Privileged, and thus not considered Responsible Employees and can maintain confidentiality regarding incidents of sexual misconduct and sexual harassment. These offices are as follows:
Confidential Community Resources
- Abby’s House professional staff can help talk through your options and can accompany you through the process of accessing any of the reporting options.
- Student Health and Counseling Center staff can talk through your options and can provide personal counseling.
