Eligibility requirements for WOU students applying for a study-away placement through the National Student Exchange program:

WOU student applicants must meet these minimum requirements:

Full-time enrollment at WOU

Completed at least 36 credits at the time of exchange

Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5

Minimum term GPA of 2.5 at time of applying and prior to exchange

Good academic standing

No incomplete grades from previous terms

No current or pending probationary status due to academic dishonesty or misconduct

Must not be on probation, parole, or have any pending legal judgments

Western Oregon University in Monmouth, OR is located within the traditional homelands of the Luckiamute Band of Kalapuya. Following the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 (Kalapuya etc. Treaty), Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to reservations in Western Oregon. Today, living descendants of these people are a part of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Community of Oregon and the Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Indians.
