Directions

Rice Auditorium is located on the corner of Knox St. and Powell St.

To get to Rice Auditorium when walking from the Werner University Center:

Start at the front, where Cafe Allegro and the Bookstore are visible from the outside. Across the street, there will be an area of grass sandwiched between ITC and the Education building. Cross the grass and go down the stairs (there are two sets. They both go to the same parking lot). Now you need to cross the parking lot. You’ll see a large, round-fronted building past some more trees and grass. This is the building you want. The doors directly ahead will spit you right in front of the box office. Enjoy! 🙂

To get to Rice Auditorium while driving, starting at the stoplight on 99W and Monmouth Hwy:

Take a right onto Monmouth Hwy. This is the light with a Dutch Brothers to your left and a gas station to your right (if you’re coming from Salem, still on 99W). Take a right onto S Knox St. Go through two stop signs and Rice Auditorium will be on your left (on Powell St.). After crossing the second stop sign, the first turn on your left (not the one that looks like a large garage door ) will be the Rice parking lot. Enjoy! 🙂
