When planning an event please fill out this request form or email hrinterpreting@wou.edu. The following levels of access will provide a guideline for how access decisions will be made by the coordinator.
Description: Campus events that are online or in person and hosted for students, faculty, staff, and/or community members. These events are not recorded and will not be posted on a WOU website. Requests can be made by event organizer or individual(s) requiring accommodations.
Examples: Student club activities, college level professional development, guest speakers, events requiring an RSVP to register.
Please include the following accessibility statement on all campus communications about this event:

Examples: Board of Trustees meetings, guest speakers whose presentations are live streamed or will be posted on a WOU website, professional development opportunities or training that will be posted on a WOU website.

Description: Campus sponsored events that are online or in person, and intended for a wide audience of students, faculty, staff, and/or community members. These events may be live streamed or recorded and posted on a WOU website. These events may be required or strongly encouraged for students or employees. Additionally, the content of these events may strongly represent the mission, vision, and values of the university to the extent that the university elects to make them as accessible as possible.
Examples: Presidential addresses, programs from the DEI office, HR required training, executive level candidate presentations.
