Payroll
Our payroll is completed using the Banner HRIS software. Banner payroll features are reflective of the diverse population of employees representing all position types, as well as many countries of residency or citizenship. We are committed to quality customer service and processing our payroll accurately and on time in compliance with federal and state regulations.
Western Oregon University processes payroll once per month, issuing paychecks on the last business day of the month.
There may be times when the need to issue wages via a paper check is necessary, due to late paperwork or documentation. All paper paychecks are to be picked up at the Human Resources Office, on the third floor of the Administration Building. If a paper check is not picked up within 14 days of email notification, the check will be mailed to the employee’s address.
Please make sure that any change of address is updated with the Human Resources Office to avoid not receiving your paycheck or W-2. Employee’s may also update their payroll address via WolfWeb via the Employee Menu.

Web Time Entry is an online leave and time reporting platform. This platform replaces hard-copy leave reports and timesheets with an online submission and approval process.
The University pays all employees once per month, on the last business day of the month. Because of this, to keep up with the demand and to pay all employees on time, the University utilizes several different pay period schedules depending on position status.
Please review the Payroll calendar to determine the deadlines for submitting documents to payroll.
Payroll: On pay day, student are paid from the 11th of the prior month – 10th of the current month.

WolfWeb is a means for employees to view their current benefits, deductions, payroll earnings, tax forms, leave accruals, and other personnel records.
Payroll taxation is highly regulated and includes a number of different forms for a variety of employee scenarios. The Payroll Deductions and Othe Tax Information page will provide helpful information to guide you with answers to most of your questions.
The University encourages all employees to take periodic time to rest and refresh while working.

Projected Time Record
Complete and submit a Projected Time Record to payroll@wou.edu before the 15th of the month that LWOP with occur. For example, if you plan to take LWOP on June 20th, you must submit this form by June 15th.
